Founded by Arwa Aliasgar—an educational game designer, spoken word artist, poetry editor, and mother of two — whose vision was to create a space where poetry can be taken from the page to the stage. Along with her other project, Thinkistry, she believes in educating and transforming lives through Play & Poetry.
Uninked is a vibrant community of over 100 poets and spoken word artists in Trivandrum. From 12‑year‑old students to 65‑year‑old journalists, we bring together voices across generations, languages, and styles.
Our stage celebrates diversity—poetry in many tongues, perspectives from all walks of life, and performances that range from raw and rhythmic to lyrical and experimental.
At Uninked, every voice matters. Together, we create a living tapestry of stories, rhythms, and emotions that prove poetry is for everyone.
